Location: Northfield Center, Ohio (Between Cleveland and Akron)

Basics: I was born and raised in Ohio and despite some of its negative aspects (mainly the conservativeness) most of the time I enjoy living here. I’m a small town/suburbs guy but some day I do want venture out into the world and live in a major city. Two years ago I bought a townhouse in Northfield Center, which is a township near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, about 30 minutes south of Cleveland.

I enjoy being outdoors. I like to bike, hike and jog in the National Park when the weather is nice. Over the last couple of years I’ve become increasingly interested in photography and am constantly out trying to sharpen my skills. I also enjoy watching movies, television, reading and traveling to new places.

I’m also single and hoping to one day find the perfect guy to share my life and all of its adventures with.

What is American Peak?: I actually bought this domain name several years ago with the intention of building an online community for people who use the National Park system. Of course a couple of years passed and I never got around to working on the project. I’ve always liked the domain name so when I decided to launch a personal blog I thought I’d finally put it to use.
