I just finished watching the first eight episodes of Ugly Betty on DVD and am wonder how I managed to miss this show last season!

A few of my favorite characters:

Eric Mabius is gorgeous and does a great job as MODE Editor-in-Chief Daniel Meade. I just wish I could decided whether I love or hate his character!

Vanessa Williams’ portrayal of devious Creative Director Wilhelmina Slater is first class. It’s about time Vanessa made a comeback. Where has she been the last ten years??

Michael Urie may be my favorite actor on the show. His character, Assistant Marc St. James, is entertaining, dynamic and downright bitchy! It’s also great to see a gay man playing the role of a prominent gay character on primetime television.

Chris Gorham’s character Henry Grubstick hasn’t made many appearances so far in the first eight episodes, but I’m hoping they’ll develop him more during the rest of the season. Chris was my favorite character back on the 90’s TV show Popular and he’s only gotten better looking!

I can’t wait for the rest of Season 1 to arrive from Netflix this week and for Season 2 to kick off next month!
