While I rarely watch television during the summer, one show has caught my attention over the last couple of months. ABC’s new summer series Traveler is an excellent drama packed with action, mystery and exciting plot twists.

Traveler follows two college roommates, Jay Burchell (Matthew Bomer) and Tyler Fog (Logan Marshall-Green), as they travel across the East Coast searching for evidence that exonerates them in the bombing of a New York museum housing the President’s art collection. All the while the FBI and the unknown individuals who framed them are closing in.

Burchell and Fog’s main goal is to find Will Traveler (Aaron Stanford), their third roommate who was apparently involved in the bomb plot, and learn the truth about what happened that afternoon. The more information Burchell and Fog find out about Traveler and his past the less clear it becomes who Traveler is and for who he works.

The show is well written and the young, attractive cast has a great on-screen chemistry.

If you haven’t seen Traveler yet you can view the full episodes on ABC’s website (a great feature I’ve used numerous times). The next episode of Traveler airs tomorrow night (Wednesday) on ABC at 10:00P ET. The following week is the finale of the eight episode first season. With the fairly strong ratings it’s had so far hopefully ABC will renew it for a full second season.
