Spoiler alert: If you haven’t watched the season finale yet and don’t want to know what happens then don’t read any further!

For the last three years I have absolutely loved Grey’s Anatomy, and I still do, but the finale left me feeling disappointed and somewhat unhappy with the direction the show is heading.

Meredith needs to just tell Derek she loves him and get it over with. She has strung him along for too long and it’s getting old. If she doesn’t commit to him by the first episode of next season then I think they should cut that story line and find him a new love interest.

There have been lots of rumors that TR Knight and Isaiah Washington are going to leave the show. Last nights finale left that possibility open for both of them. I have no problem with Isaiah leaving, as he caused his own problems, but I absolutely adore George and the show just wouldn’t be the same without him. It was so sad to see George outside the hospital with Bailey after he failed his intern exam.

I hope that next season doesn’t focus on the new intern class. Bringing Meredith’s sister on to the show could add an interesting dynamic, but adding a half dozen new cast members would just make the show too crowded.

I am glad that they are finally starting to give Alex better story lines and making him more likable. I would really like to see him and Addison together, but that obviously won’t happen since she’s leaving for her new show, Private Practice, next season.
