I love mystery movies and I also enjoy watching gay themed movies, so Third Man Out was right up my alley.

Chad Allen plays a private eye who is hired by a prominent gay activist/journalist after he is the victim of a shooting. The journalist has made many enemies over the years by outing powerful and vengeful men and it’s up to Chad to find out who is responsible.

What makes the film even better, in my opinion, is that Chad Allen himself is gay. With the list of openly gay actors in Hollywood relatively short, I always enjoying seeing a gay man portrayed by an actual gay man every now and then. Of course it also doesn’t hurt that Chad Allen is gorgeous!

If you want to see a non-typical gay movie then I would recommend Third Man Out.
