I would like to welcome everyone to my brand new blog, American Peak. After a two year absence from blogging I’ve decided that it’s finally time to reestablish my presence in cyberspace.

For those of you who don’t know me, here’s a brief bio:

My name is Ryan. I’m 25 years old and live in Northeast Ohio, right in the center between Cleveland and Akron. I work in downtown Cleveland. I live only a few miles away from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and during the warmer months you can find me out biking, hiking or jogging on the trails. I have many things in my life that I’m passionate about. My main passions right now are politics, the environment and gay rights. You’ll be hearing a lot about these issues on the blog, along with the daily happenings of my life. If you want to know more about me or this website you can find it in the About section.
